At Tyler OBGYN we are pleased to offer full-scope Midwifery care. Choosing a Certified Nurse Midwife allows you to experience the collaborative Midwifery Model of Care while keeping immediate medical and surgical interventions seamlessly available if a high-risk situation arises.

Midwives provide care throughout pregnancy, labor and birth, conduct annual exams, treat gynecologic concerns, perform procedures like pap smears and IUD insertion, prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, provide women's care throughout the lifespan, and offer family planning services.

Midwifery care provides an individualized, patient-centered approach with a simultaneously holistic focus on physical, emotional, and social wellness during pregnancy and childbirth. 

We provide our patients with the ideal balance of a natural delivery experience supported by the comprehensive safety and clinical resources of a hospital environment.

From routine, low-risk pregnancies to VBACs, high-risk care, and cesarean deliveries, our midwife works hand-in-hand with our physicians to support you every step of the way.
